Road Shoes: Flats

I saw this little Ballerina Flat on my way home from rehearsal this morning: 02/21/10 Northbound on I5 at the Seneca Street Exit Number 165. Someone lost a whole dresser full of shit at this exit.

I only had an hour before my next rehearsal, so I didn't turn around to get it, but when I was done at 5 I went back for it. On my way I found TWO more Road Shoes and chickened out getting one because there is no shoulder where the shoe is currently and stopped to get the other one but couldn't find it, it was getting dark and I only had my iPhone. I am going back tomorrow to find them both. This one appears to be on the smaller side and possibly teener.

Road Shoes: CHUCK

Found: One BRAND SPANKING NEW Black Upper, Black Toe, Black Laced, GUM SOLE Converse Chuck Taylor on 02/16/10 at 19th and Aloha on Capitol Hill. This looks to be a custom jobby (though I could be behind on my Chuckies) and whoever lost this one is sad.

When I saw it, I parked like a jackass, started taking photos and giggling and it made me late to what could only be thought of as a blind date.

Road Shoes: Jordan

I visited my friend Lauren in Oakland for Valentine's Day this year and we spent a lot of time at our most favorite bar ever: The Layover. So much time that come Friday night - 02/12/10, I was dragging major ass and as I learned in NYC the previous week, the best idea before you go out drinking is ESPRESSO. Lucky for me, Oaksterdam - that special kind of coffee shop - was just around the corner from The Layover, but had sadly shut down their espresso machine 5 minutes before Lauren and I arrived.

On our way back we found this in the street about a half a block up from the bar - at 17th and Franklin. All the espresso I ever needed. I think I can discern the Air Jordan mid-air man on the back of the shoe, but on the bottom, it could be in Greek for all I can tell. What the hell does ZD303CL even mean? It looks teenaged, that's for sure.
